LAVA e Sal
Our inspiration lies in returning to harmony and embracing the inner alignment of our two natures and needs.
On one hand, there is Salt – a symbol of body and mind purification, detoxification, bathing, and spirituality.
On the other hand, there is Lava – symbolizing regeneration, sensuality, awareness, and self-acceptance.
Our signature rituals are a journey we invite you to embark upon.
Our philosophy is rooted in seeking balance between the "outer" and the "inner."
You cannot escape the world, but you can rest, giving yourself time… and pure pleasure.
Interiors
The interiors of LAVA e Sal SPA are a harmonious space where light, detail, texture, and color hold deep meaning. Dark lava embraces and calms the senses, while off-white tones allow you to rest and find solace. Our signature ceramics offer a modern interpretation of the classic amphora, while custom-designed furniture, bespoke details, and artwork craft the unique world of Lava e Sal.
Watsu Zone
What is
the Watsu zone?
The term Watsu is derived from the words "water" and "shiatsu." Shiatsu is a type of traditional Japanese massage that utilizes acupressure to release tension in the body. The creator of Watsu therapy was Harold Dull, who beautifully combined the principles of shiatsu with an aquatic environment. This unique fusion resulted in a holistic therapy that offers profound, beneficial properties for both body and mind.
Watsu therapy takes place in a pool with a water temperature close to that of the human body, which is approximately 35°C. The therapist is always present in the water, gently guiding your body through specific movements. What you can experience includes gentle twisting, stretching, and massaging of tense areas in the body. The entire ritual is conducted under completely safe conditions, even for non-swimmers, as your head, shoulders, and legs float effortlessly on the water thanks to specialized equipment.
Watsu therapy is a holistic ritual that combines various bodywork techniques and methods, such as stretching, meditation, sound therapy, and targeted work on trigger points and tense muscles. This deeply relaxing form of passive therapy releases all physical tension caused by chronic stress, sensory overload, fatigue, and muscle aches.
Watsu is an ideal form of therapy for individuals dealing with sleep disorders, chronic stress, bodily tension, mobility issues, back pain, depression, and neurological conditions. Furthermore, it serves as a perfectly safe form of movement and relaxation during and after pregnancy, as well as for young children.
In the Watsu Zone, you can enjoy an atmospheric watsu pool with hydromassage, a dry sauna with a fireplace view, and a relaxation lounge. In this sanctuary, you will not only experience the beneficial watsu rituals but also find the perfect space to unwind before or after your treatment. The zone is available to guests aged 16 and over.
*Please note that the dry sauna in the Watsu Zone is temporarily closed for maintenance. During this time, we kindly invite you to use the sauna facilities in the Aquapark Zone.
